Dental Implants

Beautiful, long-lasting implants that transform your bite and your smile.

What an implant is

A replacement that starts at the root

An implant replaces the whole tooth, not just the part that shows. A small titanium post takes the place of the root and fuses to your jawbone, and a custom crown is fitted on top of it. Once it has healed, you bite, chew and clean it like a natural tooth.

The procedure

Your implant, step by step

01

Exam and 3D imaging

We start with a full exam and a 3D scan of the jaw. The scan shows how much bone is available at the site and exactly where the nerve and sinus sit.

02

Planning the placement

We use that scan to plan the position, angle and depth of the implant before the day of surgery, and tell you up front if grafting is part of your plan.

03

Placing the implant

The titanium post is placed into the jaw under local anesthetic. A single implant usually takes about an hour, and you go home the same day with aftercare instructions.

04

Healing and integration

Over the following months the bone grows around the post and locks it in place. We check on it as it heals, and a temporary tooth can cover the gap meanwhile.

05

Fitting the abutment

Once the implant is solid, we attach the small connector that will carry your crown. The gum is given a few weeks to settle neatly around it.

06

Your final crown

We take a digital impression and our in-house lab makes the crown, shade-matched to the teeth beside it. We fit it, check it against your bite, and you are done.

Timelines vary from person to person. Your treatment plan, and what it costs, is confirmed with you after the exam and scan, before any treatment begins.
